PASSAGE OF TSPLOST ESSENTIAL FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH IN MIDDLE GEORGIA
The Board of Directors has endorsed the passage of the Transportation-Special Local Option Sales Tax or TSPLOST. We encourage our members and the general public to get informed about this all important issue before casting their votes on July 31st.
The TSPLOST will provide over $800 MILLION in construction dollars AND over ONE BILLION DOLLARS in LOCAL economic impact. It will help keep the statewide gasoline tax from rising while giving our area more control of transportation projects with a large percentage being paid by out of area visitors!
